QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Must be Oracle 9i Certified
2. Consultant must have about 2 years as DBA and 5+ years of Total IT experience.
3. Experience in Oracle/Informatica environments is desirable. Should
have experience in handling Business Disaster recovery and Business Continuation.
4. Must possess good working experience in Oracle Forms & Reports, PL/SQL, SQL*Plus and business processes including Sales, Purchasing,
Manufacturing and Accounting is preferred. Should have handles 50-100 database tables and related
objects. Should be well versed with MS SQL server and Oracle databases. Should be
able to assist the developers in designing databases with performance issues in mind,
and should be able to fine tune the database design. Candidate should be able to write
Stored Procedures for both these databases. Excellent working Knowledge of Database Administration on Oracle Applications Release 9i. Experience
in porting Database from one version to another. Hands on Exp on Database Sizing, Applying maintenance pack/patches, Instance management,
Performance Tuning, Backup/Recovery. Familiarity with ERP packages would be an added advantage.
